We really want to try and make it to be one of the top 2 in the online contest to win a record deal (1st place prize) or 25 city tour (2nd place prize). We are very far behind the number one band (like over 2000 votes behind) so we're trying to move our way up the list. We currently are number 7 (which is awesome because we were like number 30 when I first posted about this contest) and I want to try to get to be number 6 in 8 days. To do that we are going to need over 500 votes this week. If all our friends and family vote daily I know we can do it!

Hey Friends & Fans!
As you all know by now OCCIDIS is in an online contest to win either a record deal or a 25 city tour. Votes the first couple weeks were great but they seem to have dropped off this week. We've only had about 25 votes this week, which is awesome but won't get us to the top.
We think that we can make it to the 6th spot by next Friday, May 8th (we currently are in the 7th spot). But to do that we need to get as many people voting every day as possible because we are 500 votes behind. That's a lot of votes but we know how awesome our friends and family are and that their support can get us to number one.
